      P.T. LTX

Simplified Hybrid Design, Engineered for Comfort and Endless Ocean Miles

At its core, the P.T. LTX introduces a newly developed hybrid airfoil concept featuring approximately 25% chordwise double-surface profile coverage, compared to the P.T. Hybrid’s 50% double-surface chord construction. This carefully optimised reduction in internal structure results in a significantly lighter, more compact wing while preserving a remarkably similar wind range and overall performance envelope.

The design adopts a lower aspect ratio than the P.T. Hybrid, and even slightly lower than the P.T. Skin, with a clear focus on compactness, stability, and intuitive handling. This geometry lets you deploy quickly, pack easily, and stow compactly in any condition, making the P.T. LTX a practical companion for riders who value performance and comfort on long sessions.

      DESIGNER’S NOTE

After the overwhelmingly positive feedback on the P.T. Hybrid and its uniquely smooth, confidence-inspiring ride feel, my thoughts quickly turned to the next step in the evolution of parawings. The challenge was clear: to create a product with even greater stowability, shorter lines, reduced complexity, and non-inflatable wingtips for instant water recovery with zero relaunch delay, while preserving the high wind-range stability and cruising comfort of the hybrid concept—allowing riders to enjoy long sessions with reduced physical strain and less fatigue.
The P.T. LTX is the result of that vision. Through extensive testing across a wide range of conditions, it proved to occupy a very distinctive position within our lineup, bridging the gap between the featherlight simplicity of the P.T. Skin and the performance-oriented smoothness of the P.T. Hybrid.

      WHO IS IT FOR

Positioned precisely between the P.T. Skin and the P.T. Hybrid, the P.T. LTX is designed for riders seeking the best of both worlds. It is the ideal choice for those who value maximum packability and simplified handling, while still wanting the smooth cruising comfort and extended wind range that define the hybrid concept. Its exceptionally short lines make stowing and redeploying remarkably easy, making it a highly practical companion for long, dynamic sessions. At the same time, the optimised canopy design delivers efficient, low-fatigue riding, encouraging longer, more productive sessions on the water. The P.T. LTX is designed for riders who want compact simplicity without sacrificing performance, comfort, or confidence across a wide range of conditions.

      TACKLE THAT WIDE WIND RANGE

Riders worldwide have proven that the hybrid concept opens a new chapter in parawing wind-range performance—not only through its impressive efficiency and extended usable wind range, but also through the exceptional rider comfort it delivers in challenging, gusty conditions. The hybrid airfoil concept has a unique ability to absorb gusts smoothly, reducing physical strain and creating a far more composed, controlled riding experience.
This ability to remain comfortable and predictable over long sessions is what truly defines the hybrid concept. It is not solely about raw performance, but about maximizing time on the water—allowing riders to stay out longer, conserve energy, and continue enjoying every run even as conditions become more demanding.
The hybrid concept’s extended wind range also redefines what is possible for open-sea adventures. Thanks to its significantly broader usable range, riders can confidently head offshore carrying only one or two parawings, whereas traditional pure-skin concepts often required three different wing sizes to safely cover sudden changes in wind strength.
This wider operating window not only reduces equipment bulk and simplifies logistics, but also brings a significant safety advantage during long-distance missions and open-water exploration. Having a wing that remains controllable and efficient across rapidly changing conditions allows riders to stay focused on the experience rather than worrying about equipment changes or becoming overpowered far from shore.
The same proven design philosophy has been carried into the P.T. LTX, extending the upper wind range while preserving the intuitive handling and cruising comfort riders have come to expect from the hybrid concept.
Combined with its exceptionally stable front-section canopy design and optimized partial double-surface airfoil construction, the P.T. LTX remains predictable and confidence-inspiring even when conditions become demanding. The reduced canopy complexity and non-inflatable wingtip design further contribute to faster recovery after water contact and highly efficient relaunch behavior with virtually no delay.
The result is a wing that allows riders to enjoy long, low-fatigue sessions across a remarkably broad wind range while remaining compact, efficient, and exceptionally practical in real-world conditions.
