ABOVE AIR

The Above Air Foil range stands out as one of our riders' top picks. As a mid-size model, it strikes the perfect balance, delivering the fast acceleration of a high-aspect inflatable foilboard and the stability and smooth handling of a traditional compact foilboard shape.

COMPOSITE-LEVEL PERFORMANCE, NOW IN AN INFLATABLE DESIGN

Drawing on our composite expertise, the Above Airfoil delivers top-tier performance in an inflatable package - no compromises. Perfect for intermediates and beginners, its parallel mid-section ensures early glide, steady balance, and predictable flight, while Rail Edge tech reduces drag for cleaner release. The Vee nose speeds takeoffs and smooths touchdowns, and an optimized EVA plug cuts foil drag. Enjoy all the refined composite performance in a compact, travel-friendly solution.

NEW UPGRADED CARBON PLATE

Redesigned for faster, easier foil setup with fixed nuts and bolts - just like our composite boards. The plate is now 2 cm longer, giving more standing area for smoother takeoffs, while the closed EVA pad prevents water from entering the plug area.

DELUXE LITE CONSTRUCTION

The lightest inflatable construction from Starboard. It helps you take off earlier, fly faster and in lighter winds as well as conserve energy with every stroke and pump.

DIRECT FOIL RESPONSE

Patented Top Plate Technology, with just 1.5 cm between your feet and the foil, provides direct feedback and improved control. Combined with the solid carbon standing plate, it enhances the flight experience on the inflatable foil board, eliminating any wobbly sensations.

VEE SHAPED NOSE

Inspired by the proven X-15 and Take Off ranges, the Vee nose reduces drag for early take-offs, allowing you to get up flying faster. It is more forgiving on touchdowns, enabling quick recovery to rebound and continue flying. The nose is slightly wider than the Ace Foil, providing greater control and stability before flight.

PARALLEL MID-SECTION

The mid-section of the outline is kept straight for a predictable and balanced ride. This improves overall stability and tracking for a controlled glide to take-off.

ADJUSTABLE FOIL TRACK

The foil track has enough room to adjust the foil depending on the style of riding and foil type.

RAIL EDGE RELEASE & EVA PLUG

The 3D Rail Edge enhances planing before takeoff, while the EVA Plug seals the foil mount for smoother water flow. Together, they reduce drag and boost acceleration for faster, more efficient takeoffs on your inflatable foilboard.

WELDED RAIL TECHNOLOGY

The Welded Rail Technology creates a completely airtight, mechanically bonded seam without the risk of glue weakening over time. This makes Starboard inflatable boards stronger and longer lasting.

All inflatable foil boards feature welded rails, both along the board and at the foil opening.

ADJUSTABLE FOOTSTRAPS INCLUDED

With an 18cm distance between the inserts, you can have a wider foot strap span for better trim and control while foiling since you can micro-adjust your feet position.

4 different positions for the footstraps in the front and 5 different positions for the straps in the back are available.

LEASH, PUMP AND BAG

Included with the board: a coil leash, Tiki Pump with dual nozzles for both board and wing, and a travel-friendly wheelie bag that fits a complete wing foil set.

6’9″ x 24″ | 125 L

Rider weight: Up to 110 kg

The largest in the range at 125 liters, the 6’9” is ideal for heavier intermediate riders who benefit from its added length and width. Lighter riders will also enjoy its stability, and its relatively narrow shape ensures a quick takeoff.
