Racing Stand Up Paddle Boards utilize longer, thicker and narrower characteristics to achieve better glide and faster speeds. Thicker, Narrower Paddle Boards have less drag and perform better in race conditions. These boards are less stable so make sure to find a board that is correct for your weight and experience with Stand-Up.  See how fast you can go and feel the rush of racing throught the water on a race SUP paddleboard.

C4 Waterman SUP - Vortice 14'0" - Stand Up Paddle Boards

This model was designed to be a race or touring SUP paddleboard. Starting with the same basic chassis as the XP Vortice, it has been slightly widened and adapted to the molded-composite construction used to manufacture the rest of the C4 quiver. The double-barrel concaves and sharp rail chines leave the water no where to go but off the tail-in a hurry. The result is a light and strong paddleboard that is compatible with most intermediate to advanced paddlers, fast enough to win races but easygoing and stable enough to cruise along the coast for physical training or sightseeing.

  • Length: 14'0"
    Nose: 13 3/16"
    Width: 27 3/8"
    Tail: 14 9/16"
    Thickness: 5 1/2"
Materials: Epoxy lamination with a 1-lb EPS core, sheathed with 1/8" Divinycell high-density foam
  • Double-barrel concaves
  • Single box fin, with rudder-type fins available for both standard and kelp conditions

This 14-foot board is more sturdy than our hollow Vortice XP. It floats a bit more weight so riders up to 250 pounds should feel comfortable.
